Taylor, Mum, Dad & Reilly.

At the airport. About to say bye.

Leaving!!! BYE!!!

Taylor eating Balut.

The whole mission when Elder Holland came to visit them. Can you find Taylor? If not I can give you instructions to find him. Just ask me! (or I can send it to you :D)

Taylor doing his washing!!

After the rain. Don't know if this is just somewhere to get out of the rain or someone's house??

Riding on TOP of the trike's the Filipino's use for transport over there.

Things they find in their flat!!

Thanksgiving dinner.

The strange looking crab caught by a local he was telling us about in his email!

The basketball court in the bukid! Not much else around!

The photo of Paradise! (according to Taylor)

I think they froze their bananas!

A place the missionaries visited on one of their P-days.

A bridge??!!

Crossing the bridge.

People they taught and baptised.

The cut on the foot from the axe!

Paradise again!!

The pig ...before it's been eaten!

The pig... after they've started eating it.

Taylor being funny!!!

Taylor with his new companion... Elder Olojan.

Fish, no bigger than the tip of your finger, which they cooked up and ate for breakfast.

The beach somewhere on Bohol, Philppines.

The missionaries in Taylor's District. Sorry, don't know all their names!

Taylor and his trainee!!

Taylor's area... it's bukid kaayo

His balay.... the living room and kitchen!

Building the frame!! Not that big hey?

Taylor using that skill dad taught him. Note the sunburnt feet, legs, arms.....

The toilet they put in. Obviously they can build, but I can't see too much plumbing there!!

The finished "house". Notice the walls are just mats. But when you have nothing, this is a castle!

Elder Tolentino with coconuts.

Taylor drinking coconut juice.

Taylor visiting "The Chocolate Hills" in Bohol.

One of the Families in Valencia. He told us the rest of the children were at school.

At the Port at Dumaguete, on Negros Island.

His bukid area called Tala-tala.

How they get around sometimes. On a habal-habal.

People they had Family Home Evening with in one of his bukid areas.

The baptism they had the other week.

The Family that they taught, and those that were baptised.

Taylor's district, before transfers last week!

Taylor's companion is on his right.

Sitting on a Carabao.

Eating Halo halo.

This is part of their area.

Eating Pizza.

L-R: An Elder that jumped in the photo, Elder Tollentino - Taylor's first trainee, Taylor, Elder Padilla - Taylor's new Companion and trainee, Elder Holley - Taylor's trainer.

Really heavy rain he and his companion had to walk home in.

The canal they followed up the mountain to some waterfalls.

Harvesting rice. The shirt on the head is to stop the sunburn....he tells us that's what the Filo's do!

A CSP... (community service project) They dug a hole for a compost pit.

The zone leaders bought him a cake for his Birthday. Looks YUM!

Taylor's zone before he was transferred to Cebu.

Elder Padilla with his new glasses.

Taylor, Tatay T, Elder Padilla.

Taylor and his companion, Elder Pastor

This Nanay built this weaving machine herself.

Taylor's flat. Don't you LOVE the wallpaper??

Taylor cooked Tuna Mornay, which he has always called "Tuna Gray Sauce".

Taylor making pancakes.

He can even pose while making them.......

The finished product. YUM!!

The baptism they had last Saturday.

A snake someone had caught!! Bit scary...well, actually Taylor thought it was cool!!!

Near the mountain called "Sleeping Giant" (or something like that!).... that's supposed to be his head.

Pizza in the Philippines. Don't know what the tubes are.....extra sauce maybe??

A family in one of Taylor's areas.

After Sister E's wedding.

Then the Baptism.

They had to wait a couple of weeks for this lady to get baptised, as she gave birth (to a healthy baby boy) when she was scheduled to get baptised.

Checking the damage after the typhoon.

Hacking into fallen trees to clear them. Had to start with the smaller ends first. Didn't look like he has a very big knife!

Clearing banana plants that had been blown over by the typhoon.

And again.

Taylor's photo during the typhoon, from his flat.

This is the propeller of the plane he got to fly in from Negros to Cebu. Bit to small for me!!

Someone looks pretty happy they are getting to fly on that plane!!

With others going to Cebu.

The Christmas lights at the Temple in Cebu.

This big burger was for 5 missionaries to eat....

And apparently they could barely finish it, it was so big!!!

Taylor thought this was pretty funny. The sign is up in the tree, and you wouldn't really notice it unless something fell on you, and then you looked up to see what it was, and THEN you would see the warning sign! hahaha

Looking down on Cebu city.

The next few photos are from the Cebu Zoo, where it only cost P25, which converts to about 58c. Like Taylor said...Bargain!!! Anyway...holding a snake!!

All the zone holding a python.

Not sure if it's a Falcon or an Eagle on his arm.

........Now on his head!!

Taylor with missionaries that live in the same flat as him.

A really big pizza....How big? Look at the next photo to see!!!

.......As big as an opened umbrella!!!
