Hey mum and others...
Maayong buntag. Kamusta ang Australia? Unsa ang weather like? It was ulan'ing' over the weekend and now its sunny again. Im doing pretty good. emailing takes time cause i gotta think what im going to write.... especially when all i can paghunahuna (think) of is Cebuano words. I recieved 4 dear elders this week. Nothing else again. But its nindot to hear that the parcel has been sent. Salamat kaayo! We tell stories about all sorts of things... like Grandad getting Crocs and about drop bears to the elders going to Australia for their mission. Hahaha...!
All sorts of things are changing. Like the languange is the mas dako (biggest). it is really hard and fun and exciting to be learning so much. But just as scary to realise we know nearly nothing still.Ive decided that im going to read tanan ang Basahon no Mormon sa dili pa we leave for the Philippines. That works out to be 5 kapitulo (chapters) a day. Its been going good so far in terms of reading and im on track for now. I have the photos printed. i just gotta write about them on the back and sent them hopefully ugma or this week.
Kamusta ang imong trabaho? Kamusta ang tatay?
Have fun trying to translate the Cebuano in the email. Google doesnt translate Cebuano, or so ive been told. Kinahanglan ka magsulti ni Michael Sierra kabahin usa ka tawo sa pag'translate' para kanimo.
Naghigugma ko sa MTC experince, ug sa mga elder sa akong district. Nasayud ko nga this is where kinahanglan ko to be.
I now have negative time on my email countdown! haha.
Naghigugma gayud ko kaninyo.
Nag'miss' ko kaninyo.
Elder Taylor Addison Cox
Terri here: As you can see Taylor is not just learning to speak in Cebuano, but write as well. Luckily we have a friend who speaks the language, so he translates for us!! So below will be the translation.

I love the MTC experience, and the elders in my district. I know that this is where I need to be.

I miss you all.
